Thank You!

A huge thank you to all those who have supported us through this journey.  Team 13 and Room 14 have worked so hard and it all paid off on Friday night.  From the volunteers, those who helped us make product, those who purchased items or donated money, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are headed to the showcase on Tuesday where we will share our success with others and see all the great work that other students have done.  Stay tuned for more pictures and the total of the amount of money we raised!

We will be having recess pop-up stores over the next few weeks to sell some of the remaining products, we will update you with more information soon!

Will You Be There?

We are so excited for our Mall and can't believe that it is already here!  We hope that everyone is excited to come and check out all of the fun things we have made and have planned.

For those of you who are worried about not getting some of the items that you want - fear not!  We will be taking orders for items that sell out (stuffables!) and they will be custom made after the mall.

We have chosen to play two movies - Moana and Sing.  Moana will start at 4:30pm in the big gym and Sing will play after at 6:30pm.  Admission is $2 or you can use your pass.

This Week at the Mall

We have less than a week before our Mall! We've sent home letters to the entire school, make sure to check them out and consider getting one of the Mall passes.  These passes are valued at $10 but you can get them for only $7.  These passes get you:

• Movie Admission (2 choices, Moana or Sing)
• Movie Snack Pack (popcorn, drink and treat)
• 3 Lotto tickets for the raffle
• Nail or Hair or 10 minutes at the video arcade
• Tattoo or Face Paint

These are available for pre-order as well as purchase at our customer service desk.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Alksnis for coming in and helping Team 13 make Emoji Pillows for one of the stores.  They will surely be a smashing success at our Mall!

Thank you for all of those who have supported us on our Entrepreneurial Adventure.  It has been a massive undertaking for both classrooms and having the support of the community has been encouraging, uplifting and so amazing.  We thank each and every one of you.

We want to hear from you!!  It's only 9 more days until our mall, will you be there?  Let us know what you are excited about and what you hope to see at our Mall!

We wanted to thank everyone who has support Team 13 and Room 14 so far in this entrepreneurial adventure that we are going on.  Mall in the Hall was an idea the students have been proud of and excited to share with others.  Without your support, either through a donation, volunteering at one of our craft days, making items or by planning to come out to our Mall in the Hall on May 26th, we wouldn't be able to pull off this event for such an important cause.

Hi everyone! Huge thank you to all those who have supported us so far, we couldn't be doing the Mall in the Hall without you!

Please take some time to check around the site, it has been updated with new things, including pre-order items!  This includes the very popular Pokemon stuffs!  Also check out the donor and sponsor tab, there is information for you about what your donation gets you.

Welcome!

We are Team 13 and Room 14 at Strathmillan School!  We are starting an Entrepreneurial Adventure. What does that mean?  Well, let me tell you.  An entrepreneurial adventure is a program where students are put in charge.  They create a business from start to finish, with all the money raised going to a charity of THEIR choice!  As a team, we have chosen to raise money for the Canadian Centre for Child Protection, formerly known as ChildFind Manitoba.  We couldn't imagine being lost or taken from our families and wanted to help make sure it doesn't happen to any other kids.

Our event is coming up on Friday May 26th, right here at Strathmillan School.  All are welcome!  Our mall will be open from 4:00 - 8:00pm.  There will be yummy foods, awesome goods for sale, fun activities, a movie theatre and much more entertainment for the whole family!
